Mrs. Hwang Lee Poh See has been the principal for CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School for almost three decades. Her contribution to the school and the dedication and love that she has given to her countless students are enormous and invaluable. To commemorate Mrs. Hwang's retirement, the St Nicholas Girls' School Alumnae Association would like to set up the Lee Poh See Foundation, based on Mrs. Hwang's lifelong educational principles. Hence the objectives of the Foundation are:

• To recognize outstanding performance in academia, leadership, sports, arts and benevolence amongst the students studying in CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' School;

• To provide financial assistance to diligent and perseverant students who experience financial hardship while studying in CHIJ  St. Nicholas Girls' School.

After consultation with Mrs. Hwang, following are the proposed award categories:

1. Outstanding academic achievement award

2. Outstanding leadership award

3. Outstanding sports achievement award

4. Outstanding artistic achievement award

5. Benevolence award

6. Bursary
   

While the first four categories award students who have achieved outstanding performance in various measurable aspects of a holistic education, the benevolence award pays tribute to the more intangible qualities of a student who exhibits kindness, empathy, tolerance, generosity and selflessness towards others and the Bursary is awarded to diligent and perseverant students who experience financial hardship.

We appeal to all students, old girls and parents to join us in this meaningful endeavor. Please contact the Alumnae executive members for more information if you are interested in donating to the foundation.

李宝丝基金

李宝丝校长任职圣尼各拉女校二十九年。她对圣尼各拉女校的贡献、给予学生们的教诲与宠爱，使我们许多校友、
学生没齿难忘。在李校长退休之际，圣尼各拉女校校友会，秉着李校长一贯的教育宗旨，特别设立了 " 李宝丝基金 " ，以作为对李校长永恒的纪念。此基金的宗旨是：

1. 奖励在德、智、体、群、美各方面有特出成就的在籍圣尼各拉学生；

2. 资助勤奋向上而有经济困难的在籍圣尼各拉学生。

我们将依据李校长的意愿，设立以下的奖项：

1. 学术特出成就奖

2. 特出领袖奖

3. 体育特出成就奖

4. 艺术特出成就奖

5. 爱心奖

6. 助学金
    

除了奖励在学术、领袖才能、体育或文化艺术方面有杰出表现的学生以外，爱心奖和助学金将奖励特别有爱心、耐心，
肯牺牲小我完成大我，乐于助人的学生及资助有经济困难但肯勤奋向上的学生。
