Since its inception in 1933, CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ School (SNG) has grown from strength to strength under the capable leadership of its past Principals and dedicated staff. True to its mission, the school has, over the years, inculcated the virtues of truth, justice, freedom and love in her students producing many illustrious alumnae who have continued to serve the school and nation with pride and honour. In Gratitude and Humility, we give thanks to God and all who have enabled the school to achieve success. There is still much we can learn and achieve. We are confident that with the enduring support of our staff, students, Infant Jesus Board of Management, parents and alumnae, SNG can scale even greater heights in providing value-added and holistic education.

Bearing in mind the school’s rich history, we will strive to sustain the school traditions and build on its strong culture. We will continue to provide an enriching school experience for our girls where memories are etched and life-long friendships forged. We treasure one another in the SNG family with Sisterly Love and Dignity for All. It is the duty of every member of the SNG family to uphold its values and do her utmost to honour the family name. In SNG, we cheer one another on to Create and Celebrate great performance and success.

A Leader in Every Student - every member of our family displays confidence, passion for life and, compassion to Lead and Serve for the betterment of all. When I asked Ms Donne Marie Aeria, Chairperson, Infant Jesus Board of Management, what her expectations were for the Principal of SNG, she said, “Love your teachers, love your students”. Ms Donne Marie’s vision touches the core of what SNG stands for. It is also what leadership at a higher level is all about. As members of the SNG family, my staff and I are committed to serve you and be of significance to you. Together we work towards becoming a high performing organization where every member plays an active role to contribute to the school and society.

We work closely with our key partners to develop talents grounded in values. We want to help you achieve your goals and make a difference in bringing out the magnificence in you. We will equip you with the intelligences to prepare you for the next stage of your life as well as to be of service to the nation. As you journey with us in SNG, you will Learn from Life and be always ready for new challenges. Our aim is for you to be rooted in values and able to take wings to soar like eagles.
